About Me

Hi, I'm Chris.

I'm an author-illustrator from St Helens in the North West of England.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. Somewhere along the way I realised I enjoyed making up stories just as much as drawing the pictures to go with them.

I studied Product Design at the University of Salford. It wasn't quite the right fit for me. I was more interested in creating characters and stories than designing products.

I then became a teacher, which I've been doing for... well, over ten years now. I've genuinely lost count.

Outside the classroom I'm usually writing, sketching or working on picture books. I work mostly with ink, watercolour, pencil and collage before bringing everything together digitally.
